The Dakin Humane Society is looking for a full-time lead veterinarian. We are looking for a senior veterinarian with experience in shelter medicine and herd health management. This position will be responsible for performing exams on adoption center animals, working at our weekly vaccine clinic, as well as performing spay/neuter, other surgeries and dentistry. This position will also be responsible for working with our Animal Care Manager on oversight of the organization's medical program, daily oversight of shelter medical components working to enforce current and create new policies and standards of care, as well as managing and mentoring the other veterinarian on staff.
