We recognize the importance of the relationships between humans and animals and we see our clients and patients as extended family. We provide many services such as wellness examinations, immunizations, surgery, radiology, grooming, an in-house laboratory, and emergency services. After-hours emergencies are referred out.
The Veterinary Technician assists in multiple procedures providing care for animals including physical examinations, dental procedures, surgeries, immunizations, client education, marketing and inventory maintenance. This position requires a working knowledge of pharmaceutical drugs, common diseases; their symptoms, means of transmission, treatment and prevention, and other basic preventative health care recommendations. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, a critical thinker, a good communicator, and a CVT/LVT/RVT. Experience with AVImark software is ideal. A background check and drug test will be required of the successful candidates.
