Seeking a full time mixed animal veterinarian to fit our busy, ever-expanding practice. Both experienced practitioners and new graduates are encouraged to apply. We’re looking for a team player, with excellent communication skills, that exudes an energy and enthusiasm for veterinary medicine. Here you will have every opportunity to gain valuable, hands-on experience while fine tuning problem-solving skills both inside and outside of the usual clinical setting. Our caseload is diverse, offering a variety of species with an even more extensive array of maladies, providing us with the joy that comes with escaping the mundane, to see cases standard city practices may never see. Graham Veterinary Clinic sees a balanced caseload of both small and large animals, with the large animals being mostly equine, followed by dairy cattle and small ruminants. We practice a high standard of medicine and are equipped with the latest technologies. Our recently remodeled clinic consists of a full pharmacy, new in-house blood machines, cultures, and semen processing for equine breeding. We also offer digital x-rays, digital ultrasounds, laser therapy and battery-operated equine dental floats. We aim to provide the highest quality of medicine while trying to find affordable options for our patients. The small animal clinic stays busy with a variety of surgical procedures, keeping a continual focus on routine wellness, dental, and preventative medicine. Our ambulatory services focus heavily on equine breeding and lameness, but never forget internal medicine and routine herd health for both equine and cattle. Salary is based on experience with benefits including health care stipend, paid CE, paid licensing fees, and uniform allowance. Vehicle and gas are provided for ambulatory services. Any after-hours emergency calls for small and large animal is additional pay. Graham Vet Clinic sits in the heart of Central Illinois’ Amish country, located only 45 minutes from Champaign-Urbana and 20 minutes from Lake Shelbyville. Arthur is a welcoming rural community with all the charm and benefit of small town living, while still being driving distance from weekend recreation. To apply please email Dr. Heidi Grooms at firstname.lastname@example.org or Tiffany Davis at email@example.com or call 217-543-2613. Please include resume and cover letter in your application.
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
Additional Salary Information: Paid CE, state and federal license fees paid, health insurance stipend, retirement matching program, truck/vet box provided to associate full time/not shared with other employees, gas provided for work vehicle, uniform allowance, gym membership fees.
