St. Charles Veterinary Hospital, located in Central Florida, is an AAHA accredited, mixed small animal and exotic / avian / wildlife practice looking to fulfill expansions with valued team members. Prospective candidates for technician positions should be willing to work during the week with rotating weekends, including potential emergency shifts during weekend hours. Exotic experience is not required - we will teach you! However, general practice with small domestic animals IS A MUST. Mentorship will be for the first 90 days of training so a willingness to learn is key to this clinic. Basic knowledge in Idexx blood machines, K-Laser laser Therapy, and Avimark software preferred, but not required. Skill sets regarding proper patient/ animal restraint techniques, laboratory preparations, surgical monitoring, anesthesia monitoring, IV catheterization, fluid therapy, fecal analysis as well as emergency/ critical care skills are highly valued and will be compensated accordingly. We provide great incentives for long term, full time team members such as: continuing education and certificate programs, paid vacation and paid holidays, paid sick time, contribution to health insurance plans, uniform allowances, plus regular pay increases with continuation of education as well as skill sets. Some college is preferred, or experience in small animal practice.

Four doctor state of the art small animal, avian, and exotic practice. Completely paperless system (Avimark) with ALL digital equipment. Telemed, Lasers, Idexx in house blood analyzers, and digital radiographs are all part of the practice. The practice is active with Wings of Flight Birds at Disney Animal Kingdom as well as primates, ferrets, large cats, llamas, reptiles, and exotic hoof stock to name a few. We are the only facility state authorized and permitted to accept and treat Florida's wildlife in the Central Florida area.
