The BIG EASY Animal Hospital, a brand new facility located in the trendy neighborhood of Lawrenceville has not only expanded its practice, but has presently added a doggy day care, dog/cat boarding facility, grooming and a dog friendly cafe to open early spring. The BIG EASY does not only have an excellent reputation in the community, but was voted "Best Veterinary Hospital in the city of Pittsburgh" 2 years in a row by the Trib Total Media and Pittsburgh's Finest 2017 by the City Paper. Our busy animal hospital is looking for that motivated, talented, compassionate Doctor to join our team for a full-time position as we continue to expand. Our idea candidate should have experience, have a great interest in surgeries, client communication and meets our core values. This candidate must excel in medicine being we receive referrals from surrounding veterinary hospitals. Our hospital is equipped with not only digital x-ray and IDEXX lab suite on site, but we also have a state of the art surgical/anesthesia equipment along with EXCELLENT experienced nurses that oversee patients during procedures. Open position not only requires EXCELLENT skills, but client education, strong work ethic, great attitude, and respect amongst employees is a must. Candidate must be comfortable working independently and as a group. No night and weekend calls. Our local emergency hospital has coverage for nights, weekends and holidays. Lawrenceville is the new "Greenwich Village of Pittsburgh" with outstanding restaurants, galleries, yoga facilities and bars. Pittsburgh not only offers a beautiful landscape and scenery, but there are lots of biking and hiking trails thru out the city.
