We are an AAHA accredited 5 doctor mixed animal clinic looking to hire our 6^th veterinarian.  Currently, we have two full time large animal veterinarians, two full time small animal veterinarians, and one part time small animal veterinarian.  We offer a supportive team environment where you can successfully practice high quality medicine with all of the tools you may need.  Our support staff consists of two receptionists, 4 small animal technicians, and an on-site groomer.  On average, our staff members have worked here more than 5 years, which is easily attributable to the work/life balance we strive to maintain. The clinic is open from 8-5 M-F and 8-12 on Saturdays.  Scheduling is very flexible, Saturdays are split between small animal veterinarians (Currently every 3^rd) and after-hours call is split between all clinics in the valley.  You can expect to be on call 1-4 nights PER MONTH. 

Ideally, we are looking for a small animal veterinarian with at least 1-2+ years of experience.  We are a preceptor practice for Washington State, so anyone interested in providing mentorship would be working with 4^th year veterinary students on a frequent basis.  We are looking for someone that is comfortable with both medicine and surgery, and has great communication skills capable of maintaining our current level of service as well as expanding our current range of services.

The practice is located in Clarkston, Washington, which is in the far south east corner of the state.  Between Clarkston and its sister city of Lewiston, Idaho immediately across the river the population is roughly 60,000.  We are 30 minutes from Pullman, WA and Moscow, ID which are home to WSU and U of I respectively, 2 hours from the beautiful wine country in Walla Walla, WA and 2 hours from Spokane.  There are also abundant outdoor activities available in the local area. 

We offer a salary based on experience, starting at $70,000 base plus production, health insurance stipend, retirement package with matching contributions and paid vacation. To assist in acquiring CE, we not only offer a generous $2500 CE package for you to gain additional skills or experience of your choice, but also bring in speakers for on-site staff and client education.
