All-bird & exotic animal hospital owned by board-certified avian vet providing top-notch patient care and exceptional client service seeks an internship-trained (in exotics or small animal rotating) veterinarian to complete a 2-year ABVP-avian residency. Our hospital, the Veterinary Center for Birds & Exotics, is a 3-vet (all board-certified or residency-trained), fully paperless, AAHA-accredited, computerized, all-bird/exotics practice in Bedford Hills, NY (Westchester County) about 50 miles north of NYC. Full medical, surgical, & boarding facility with all licensed technicians & cutting edge equipment including endoscopy, in-house lab, digital x-ray, ultrasound, cold laser therapy, radio-surgery, CT. Overnight care provided by local 24-hr ER clinic. Support from numerous board-certified specialists (radiologist, internist, cardiologist, ophthalmologist, surgeon, oncologist). Seeking outgoing, articulate, detail-oriented, enthusiastic team player with a desire to learn high quality exotic pet care and how to run an exotics-only hospital.
