Pet Health is seeking a full-time veterinarian associate to join our busy four-doctor practice and to provide medical care for dogs and cats in the Las Vegas area. We are looking for a veterinarian who is open to new ideas and who will enjoy being part of a team process that involves both support staff and pet parents. Why Pet Health?
High-Quality Medicine Our state-of-the-art facility is less than five years old and has all the newest high-tech equipment. We schedule 60 and 30-minute appointments to allow for a comprehensive medical history and physical exam that is not rushed, and we don’t practice medicine a la carte, such as optional bloodwork for procedures. Our philosophy is simple: what we do for our own pets is what we recommend for our pet parents.
Pet Insurance Because we believe that pet insurance turns good pet parents into great pet parents, we offer Trupanion Express and have become one of the most successful practices in the country with pet insurance. Trupanion Express allows us to know immediately if a condition is covered and also enables our pet parents to pay only for what they owe. Our support staff handles all the claims for our pet parents.
Great Pet Parents The Pet Health focus is the pet parent who is looking for something different and better. In a crowded low-cost market, we have excelled through our passion for high-quality medicine and unparalleled customer service. We deliver a valued service and charge appropriately for what we do. This has allowed us to establish an educated clientele that is willing to work up cases.
Mentorship and Future Opportunities Experienced mentorship for both the medical and business aspects of owning a veterinary practice will be available. We believe that everyone in our hospital should know some of the business aspect. Profit is not our sole reason for existence, but it is required and lets us improve the way we practice.
Work to Live At Pet Health we value our employees’ work and personal lives! We strive to support the need for personal and professional fulfillment by providing flexible options and no emergency duties. Our associate veterinarians work an average of 15 days per month. We want you to love your work, and part of that comes from not being at work all the time.
Integrative Medicine As more people are exploring alternative therapies for themselves, pet parents are looking for the same type of quality, holistic care for their pets. At Pet Health our goal is to offer modern Western medicine in conjunction with alternative therapies that are supported by high-quality scientific evidence. Acupuncture, botanical medicine, laser therapy, and medical massage provide our pet parents with drug-free and surgery-free options for their pet’s treatment plan. This integrative model is part of our lifetime care philosophy at Pet Health, promising more time, personalized care and attention, and abroad, holistic approach to healing.
Something Different Part of the Pet Health philosophy is always questioning the status quo. This business was built on the premise that there is a better way to deliver pet medical care. Among our services our pet parents love are our customized breed-specific lifetime care programs, visual presentation for disease conditions in the rooms during the exams, and text message updates for our pet parents during procedures. Our goal is not to be just another business with a vision statement, but rather to be a truly visionary organization.
