We are looking to add a fourth veterinarian to our busy practice. Our ideal Veterinarian has a deep passion for spay/neuter and shelter medicine, ability to thrive in a high energy environment, good sense of humor, and interested in helping those in need. We have a modern 3,000 square foot clinic and state of the art medical equipment, including IDEXX in-house labs, an extensive surgery suite, digital dental and full body x-ray, surgical cautery, and ultrasound. Our clinic was created 10 years ago to help low-income individuals and now is a referral center for all shelters, rescues, and cities in our tri-state area. We have an extensive caseload and perform surgeries besides spay and neuter, including dentals, extensive soft tissue surgery, orthopedics, and many other specialty surgeries. Through various grant programs and high volume of clients, we are able to provide lifesaving care for all those in need. The position is FT, great salary (New grad starting pay over $100k and relocation bonus) with an ideal balance of work and leisure. We are open M-F and emergencies are at the doctor’s discretion but associate receives 50% of all ER services in addition to salary. Training and extensive mentorship is available for candidates with a strong desire and aptitude to become successful, high-volume surgeons who demonstrate outstanding principles. Low Cost Spay/Neuter Clinic is a humane alliance model clinic that has primarily provided spay/neuter and wellness services to the community for 8 years. Our mission is to provide great care for every animal despite an owners income. This past year our clinic expanded to a new 3,000 sq. ft facility and now provides further medical and surgical care for animals in the tri-state area. Daily we perform 25-30 spay/neuter surgeries with office calls and our services have grown to include soft tissue surgery, dentistry, in house labs, xray, and shelter services. This clinic provides the sole care for 3 surrounding municipal shelters, 12+ rescues, and has a healthy fund to help with medical costs for those animals in need. The clinic has created multiple voucher programs to increase S/N in the community and has an active TNR program. We have a very dedicated staff with 9 technicians and healthy supply of volunteers.
