West Kendall Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time veterinarian to join our independent private practice in Miami, Florida. We've been established over 30 years and have built an excellent reputation for compassion, care, and professionalism. Our recent remodel and subsequent growth has created an opportunity for the expansion of our practice, and we're looking to add an additional veterinarian to our staff. Our practice sees companion animals including birds and exotics (90% dogs and cats, 10% birds/reptiles/small mammals). We have a high support-staff-to-veterinarian ratio. We have the skills and experience to handle complex medical cases internally, but we also have many nearby highly-skilled Board-certified specialists that we can refer to when necessary. (Weeknight and weekend emergencies are referred to emergency facilities.)
We welcome new graduates who are seeking mentorship as well as experienced veterinarians who could be looking for a future equity opportunity. This is an opportunity to build your career and reputation while establishing yourself in a community with excellent schools as well as great recreational, cultural, and leisure activities. And did we mention the marvelous weather and blue skies?

About West Kendall Animal Hospital
Jeffrey Davidson, DVM, opened West Kendall Animal Hospital in 1986. His goals were to offer the best quality veterinary medicine and build lifetime relationships with the pet owners of the surrounding neighborhoods. In the 30+ years that West Kendall Animal Hospital and Dr. Davidson have served the community, we've happily met those goals. The hospital underwent a complete remodel and expansion that was finished in 2017, adding an additional exam room and greatly improving the patient and staff flow, and we continue to invest in our facility. We utilize technology to maximize productivity as well as improve our record-keeping, and we've been paperless since 2006. Our patients include predominantly companion animals but include birds and exotics, too. We place an emphasis on preventive care and spend much of our time in the exam room educating pet owners. Communication and transparency are our focus in every client interaction. Our client base includes a significant bilingual (English/Spanish) population. West Kendall Animal Hospital is well-positioned for future growth and opportunity.
