Greenbriar Veterinary Hospital & Luxury Pet Resort is seeking a Full Time Veterinarian & Medical Director to lead our well-established advanced veterinary hospital and pet resort located in beautiful Frederick, MD.

Our wide range of services include State of the Art Veterinary Hospital, Pet Rehabilitation & Therapy with underwater treadmill and 2 class IV Lasers. Our 3 doctors are dedicated with a large focus on orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, ultrasound, and laser therapy. We have a full in-house Lab, digital x-ray, and diagnostic capability.

Our services include Veterinary Hospital, Pet Rehabilitation & Therapy, Luxury Boarding Resort, Professional Grooming, Spa Services, Dog Training, Day Camp and Boarding, and a free public dog park. Our beautiful and well-maintained facility is situated on 30 acres of land and is conveniently accessible from highway, I 270. Our professionalism, prompt and courteous service are the reasons our client come back to us again and again.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years DVM clinical experience required.
• Experience in both general and emergency practice.
• Ability to write, adjust and implement medical standards.
• Must be organized, focused and work well under pressure.
• Team oriented and positive attitude.
• Experience in staff development, coaching and mentoring new graduates is a plus.
• Completion of additional coursework or continuing education in business and operations is preferred but not required.
• Must be a strong communicator - preferably familiar with emotional intelligence and conflict competence.
