Associate Veterinarian wanted: Busy companion animal practice in the beautiful Schoharie Valley of Upstate NY. We are 99% canine and feline, but do see the occasional sheep, goat or alpaca. Convenient to Capital District, Oneonta, Catskills and Adirondacks. Experienced preferred. Excellent communication and diagnostic skills required, proficiency in medicine and soft tissue surgery needed. Interest in small ruminants and exotics welcome.
We have a great team of support staff: licensed veterinary technicians, receptionists, and assistants. Facility was expanded and renovated in 2012 to increase comfort of our clients, patients and employees. Our veterinary software is Impromed. We have a comprehensive in-house laboratory and use two commercial laboratories. There is digital radiography, anesthetic machines with ventilators, dentistry machine, radiosurgery unit. We have both an in-house and on-line pharmacy.
All staff members enjoy being active in the community participating in activities such as: Career Days at local schools, pet photos at the clinic for holidays, support local spay neuter programs, etc.
We are looking for dedicated veterinarian to join our team, working together with other doctor(s) and our support staff to provide excellent care to our patients and clients, and help grow this busy practice. Potential for buy-in for the right person.
