Spokane is located in the heart of the Inland Northwest about 20 miles west of Idaho and 110 miles south of the Canadian border, and it is the second most populous city in Washington. Our motto “Near nature, near perfect” really says it all. Spokane is a prime location for outdoor adventures as well as urban outings. We offer all of the benefits of the Pacific Northwest lifestyle, but with a lower cost of living than the Seattle and Portland areas.
Our economy is growing, making our area affordable and a great long-term investment. The city is home to multiple academic centers (Gonzaga, Washington State University with a Spokane campus, Eastern Washington University, Whitworth and several community colleges), along with regional medical hospitals and minor league sports teams. Additionally, we have a nationally-recognized symphony housed in a historic concert hall and several outstanding museums. Our performing arts center stages numerous touring Broadway productions.
