If you love the outdoors, The Yadkin River has attracted a sense of adventure since early times, when a young Daniel Boone and his family lived beside the river. The 110-acre Boone’s Cave Park sits adjacent to the river and offers miles of hiking trails, while further downstream the river flows into High Rock Lake. The lake, which covers 15,000 acres, is the second-largest lake in NC and is known for boating, paddle boarding, swimming and fishing, particularly largemouth bass fishing.

Because a large number of veterinarians practice at North Davidson Veterinary Hospital, we can care for many types of pets- (Not all veterinarians see exotics and farm animals)
Small Farm Animals
We also have a veterinarian and personnel on duty 6 days a week who are trained and equipped to handle any urgent care for our clients. Usually the emergency team consists of at least one veterinarian and several technicians working together to save a pet's life.
About Community Veterinary Partners
Otterkill Animal Hospital was founded 30 years ago in a rural setting in Orange County, NY. We began as a mixed small and large animal practice. Dr. Zgoda took over in 1995 and continued his motto of "if it fits through the door we'll treat it". He built a strong team of dedicated technicians and doctors who care about our clients as well as our patients. We believe in educating our clients to become part of our healthcare team. Dr. Zgoda was members of all the local vet associations, and never stopped learning. After his passing in 2016, "The Otters" have striven to continue his legacy of compassion and communication. We want a true team player to join the family.
