Estimated Externship Workload: Assist Drs. Abell, Baus, Kremberg & Rothacker with the daily caseload 5 days per week. We travel commonly throughout CT, MA & NY to include Long Island. Emergency calls are optional on a case by case basis.
Goals of the Externship: - Provide exposure to the role of the equine veterinarian in a busy, ambulatory-only sport horse practice. Provide candidates for the internship position with the information they need to make a decision about applying for the internship position.
Living Quarters: Living quarters are available at the house of Drs. Baus or Kremberg, depending on availability.

Insurance Requirements: - Externs will need to complete an AVMA PLIT Student Professional Liability Application - Health Insurance is required
Prerequisites: Currently a veterinary student at an accredited veterinary school.
