The Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine has openings for skilled veterinary technicians throughout its Veterinary Teaching Hospital in multiple services and at all skill levels.
The hospital serves nearly 20,000 patients a year in 18 specialties. Technicians work with board certified diplomates, interns, and residents throughout the hospital and assist with teaching 4th year professional degree students in a fast-paced environment. Technicians are considered a vital part of the medical team and positions include great benefits package, paid holidays, relocation assistance and support for professional development. Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) designation a plus but is not required.

Veterinary Specialist 1, Monthly Salary: Range 42, $3,537 - $4,723 (Step A - M)
Veterinary Specialist 2, Monthly Salary: Range 50, $4,282 - $5,756 (Step A - M)
Veterinary Specialist 3, Monthly Salary: Range 53, $4,602 - $6,198 (Step A - M)
Successful candidates typically begin at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.
